The Ischua
Valley Historical Society owns 3 buildings in which we house priceless
historical items and documents.
1) The Miner's Cabin, a Queen Anne Victorian mansion.
2) The Howe-Prescott Pioneer House, circa 1814, was a home and former
station on the Underground Railroad.
3) Our newest addition is an 1881 brick building at 3
Park Square.
In order to maintain the integrity of the buildings, it is imperative
that we raise funds to improve and maintain them. We have established
an IVHS Building Maintenance Fund to that end.
We are asking for donations for the Fund. As a non-profit organization,
any money you send to us is tax deductible.
It's a great way to lower your tax liability.
If you are able, please make your check payable to IVHS Treasurer
and mail it to:
Ischua Valley Historical Society
P.O. Box 153
Franklinville, NY 14737
~For proper distribution,
be sure to write "Building Maintenance Fund" in the memo
portion of your check.
Thank you for your consideration!
